Dr Mulvihill grew up in Fleet, Hampshire before studying medicine at Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals. He worked as a junior doctor at several hospitals in the south east before deciding on a career in primary care and undertook his GP training in East Kent. He completed his training in 2008 and has worked at New Dover Road Surgery ever since. His post graduate qualifications are MRCGP and DRCOG. He is currently Clinical Director of Canterbury South Primary Care Network, working to address health inequalities and improve cancer detection and prevention of cardiovascular disease. His interests also include minor surgery and Learning Disabilities.
