Demonstrating Your Covid-19 Vaccination Status: what, why and how
There may be circumstances in which you need evidence that you have had 2 doses of a vaccination against Covid-19, for example for travel to certain countries or regions. This will be accessible digitally or in paper format.
From 17th May 2021, the free NHS App will be able to be used as a digital form of 'vaccine passport'. You can download the NHS App from your app store and can register on it yourself. Your vaccination status will appear in your app once you are fully registered, and 5 days after you have received your second dose.
If you already use the 'My GP' app, you can link this to your registration on the main NHS App.
If you do not have access to the app, you can call 119 (after 17th May) and ask for a letter to be posted to you. Please ensure that we at the Practice have your up to date address so that this will be sent to the correct place.
Do not contact us at the GP Surgery about your Covid-19 vaccination status/vaccine passports. We cannot provide letters showing your Covid-19 vaccination status.
